MERIDA TT Warp Race series

Only one year after its introduction, our revolutionary Triathlon/ TT miracle WARP gets its first important upgrade: From 2011, all components on TIME WARP comply with the official length/ width ratio of 3:1 according to the new UCI directives. The MODULAR HEAD system remains as the prominent feature of our "two-in-one" machine – and hence its unbelievable variability!

Thanks to the modular head tube design the corresponding body position of the athlete at the handlebar can be varied individually by up to 40 mm. Depending on bike discipline, cycling distance and personal performance level, the specific system allows changes between the most extreme TT aero positions and postures suitable for long range pedalling. In the course of a season, this height adjustment is made possible without raising the handlebar by using unattractive and primarily unstable "spacer towers". The patent-pending MODULAR HEAD concept allows effective head tube extension via attachable modules, which is not only visually striking, but also without any negative effects on head tube stiffness and corresponding handling characteristics. Similar to the handlebar position, the seat tube angle can be varied between 78° and 80°. Therefore, the MERIDA WARP masters all speed orientated and long distance bike disciplines with equal ease – from short Time Trials to Ironman challenges!

For 2011, our WARP range offers three complete bikes (all UCIcompliant) as well as a frameset. All WARP models convince with extremely stiff and ultra-lightweight frames – not to mention many highly effective aero details such as low-profile tubing and a rear brake positioned behind the BB section.
