Many female cyclists still use bikes primarily constructed for men. But thanks to MERIDA R & D, those uncomfortable days are over: Our ladies' bikes are specifically designed for maximum female cycling fun on and off the road – from the very first crank turn to a well-earned post-ride beverage!

From initial development to market-ready production model, MERIDA ladies' bikes follow a completely consistent concept. This means providing geometries which are anatomically as well as ergonomically balanced and using functional components taking into account a female pilot's generally lower weight. Regardless if it's a road or off-road version: All JULIET frames start one level under male sizes at XXS. Therefore, female cyclists with smaller stature enjoy a safe seating position and comfortable dismount from the saddle in every situation – which is also as a result of the lower BB section. In addition, we offer special bikes for velocity-loving ladies: Our road rocket SCULTURA EVO JULIET racing machine and the incredible ONE-TWENTY JULIET trail bike!

In MY 2011, the MERIDA product portfolio includes three options for ladies favouring slim tires on smooth asphalt. At the same time, we proudly present eight two-wheelers for all female cyclists preferring trails and logging roads instead. All JULIET bikes come equipped with female-specific components. Apart from the racing-orientated high-end versions, they generally feature special comfort geometries with taller head tubes for a more upright seating position. All JULIET MTBs also delight with suspension elements allowing optimal adaption to lower body weights.
